A background color is the color that fills the background of an image, webpage, document, or any other graphical element. It serves as the backdrop against which other elements, such as text, images, or graphics, are displayed. Background colors are commonly used to enhance the visual appearance of content, provide contrast, and contribute to the overall design aesthetic.

How does it work?

In 3D rendering, the background color refers to the color that appears in the background of a rendered image or scene. It is the color that fills the areas of the image where there is no geometry or where the scene extends beyond the visible objects. The background color can have a significant impact on the overall look and feel of the rendered scene.

How do you add/change the background color in the 3D scene?

  1. In the right-side inspector panel under the scene section click on the swatch button next to the “color” feature
  2. Once a pop up appears you can select the background color by positioning the dot on the color chart as well as editing the hue underneath with the slider.
  3. OR you can also type in the hex code in the hex input field of the pop up.
