Please refer to the "How to Prepare Content for PeachWorlds" article to understand how to import content into the PeachWorlds Builder.
Peachworlds prefers working with GLB Files
What you need to know about GLB Files
- The GLB format is compatible with a limited set of material functions, including Roughness, Metallic, Base Color, Normals, and Emissions.
- While GLB supports textures, their representation is limited to the information provided by the aforementioned material functions. As a result, GLB cannot accurately depict elements like transparent materials that refract light.
- Consequently, materials with more complex characteristics, such as transparency or light refraction (like water), cannot be accurately portrayed using the GLB format.
- Consider adding reflective material (like water) inside our builder.
Limitations of GLB
- The GLB format works with limited types of material functions, such as, Roughness, Metallic, Base Color, Normals and Emissions.
- GLB also supports textures, but they are limited to the information provided by the above-mentioned material functions. In other words, for elements like transparent materials that refract light, GLB is incapable of representing them.
- This means materials that have more complex characteristics, such as transparency or light refraction (like water), cannot be accurately portrayed with the GLB format.
Top Tips to work with GLB and our builder
- Add Lights inside the builder
- Add water materials inside the builder.
- Add the Bloom Processing Effect in the builder
