How do you add a textbox into the UI canvas?

Adding a textbox element to the UI canvas is straightforward, similar to basic layout elements like blocks and grids. However, textboxes have specific features you can customize from the "text" section in the inspector panel when the element is selected.

  1. Switch to the UI editor.
  2. Click on the 'Add elements' button in the top left corner.
  3. Hover over the "Basic" section in the pop-up to reveal another pop-up.
  4. In the new pop-up, locate the "other" section with three elements.
  5. Choose the "Text" element to add a textbox to the UI canvas.
  6. Double-click the textbox to enter the editing state and type your text. Click elsewhere or press enter to exit the editing mode and save the text.
