In V 0.4.0, we mainly focused on adding a couple of neat new features that will greatly improve the user experience. Moreover, we have also added a couple of feature improvements and a bunch of bugfixes that are listed below.
🚀 New Features:
- PeachWorlds is no longer silent with Audio elements!
- You can now add Audio elements to the UI canvas and link them to your sound files to enhance your creative possibilities with the power of sound.
- Custom domains are finally here
- Now, not only can you publish your website to the PeachWorlds provided Base domain, you can also publish it to one of your owned custom domains! All you have to do is update your DNS records with the data provided by PeachWorlds on your domain host site.
- Templates are on the way!
- We have added the first iteration of the templates system, which allows us to create templates that users can then make their own and modify them to suit their desires. Stay tuned for the first wave of PeachWorlds templates that is coming!
- Scroll animations have been implemented
- You can now spruce up your websites scroll journey with customizable scroll animations, further expanding your creative options.
- Multiple selection is now present in the 3D editor
- You can now select multiple objects at once by either dragging with your mouse or using the shift key, allowing you to edit the properties of multiple objects at once and increasing your efficiency and saving you time.
- New Sticky positioning type has arrived
- You can now set position type to sticky for elements in the UI editor, improving your website creation options.
- Auto resolution reduction is here to stay
- We have re-added the auto resolution reduction feature, but this time users can choose to have it on or off and modify it to best suit their needs.
✅ Improvements:
- You can now copy/paste elements along with their animations
- You can now set the speed of imported animations
- Improved the performance of the preview mode, greatly reducing FPS issues
- Update the project to Node.js version 20
- Finished shifting the build process to the backend.
- New options have been added to the material properties panel to allow you to mark your image as transparent , making sure it behaves as such
- Design overhaul: Fixed style-guide inconsistencies and removed some no longer needed buttons/features
- Made sliders in the UI editor less sensitive to undo/redo actions
- Improved the migration system functioning
