A background color fills the backdrop of an image, webpage, document, or other graphical element. It provides the canvas on which other elements like text, images, or graphics are displayed. Background colors enhance the visual appeal of content, provide contrast, and contribute to the overall design aesthetic.

How does it work?

In 3D rendering, the background color is the color that fills the image or scene areas where there's no geometry or where the scene goes beyond visible objects. This color, appearing in the image's background, significantly influences the rendered scene's overall appearance and atmosphere.

How do you add/change the background color in the 3D scene?

  1. In the inspector panel on the right side, under the scene section, click on the swatch button next to the "color" feature.
  2. A popup will appear, allowing you to select the background color. Position the dot on the color chart and edit the hue using the slider underneath.
  3. Alternatively, you can enter the hex code in the hex input field of the popup.
